About 1 in 5 children in the United States between the age 11 and 18 have been a victim of cyber bullying (MacDonald).There are a lot of threats and infulences made through social networking sites, such as Facebook. For example, a boy may break up with a girl, sides may begin to form against two parties. Exchanges will be made online to lead to trouble at school (MacDonald).The most common types of cyber bulling are hurtful comments, and rumors spread online. It can be emotional or physical abuse, many children or teens are bullied everyday. The victims become depressed, and lose interest in their school work. A national school board association study says that as many as 1/3 of American teens regularly post inappropriate language of manipulated images on the web. 26% of teachers are being targeted also (Jonsson).
